Fish hatchery
We grow our salmon from tiny roe weighing 0.18 grams to well over 100 grams at our fish hatchery sites. It’s truly exciting to follow their journey from roe to sea-ready smolt.
Those of us who work with the fish every day feel both proud and moved when we release the fish into the sea.
North of the Arctic Circle
All of our facilities are located north of the Arctic Circle. We produce our smolt locally in Nordland and Finnmark. See the map for detailed locations
Our fresh and saltwater sites
New post smolt facility
As part of our long-term strategy, it is important for us to be largely self-sufficient in smolt and to produce smolt close to our sea sites in Nordland and Finnmark. We are now building a post smolt facility at Sørøya in Finnmark.
